Case study · financial advisory · India
A website that works like a branch.
A financial advisory firm with three group entities was winning business on referrals and losing everyone else. Its products lived in brochures and its enquiries lived in phone calls. This is the website that replaced that, shipped in 12 days.
The problem
Referrals only reach the people you already know
The firm was good at its work and invisible outside its circle. That is a common shape for an advisory business, and it fails in three ways.
Invisible to anyone searching
The firm distributes products from dozens of banks and insurers, and none of it could be found by someone typing a question into a search box. If you were not referred, the firm did not exist.
Too much to explain on a call
Loans, investments and insurance, each with its own rates, documents and eligibility. Explaining the range one phone call at a time does not scale, and half the questions are the same every time.
Enquiries with no memory
Calls, walk-ins and messages left no record. Nobody could say which channel brought the business in, or how many enquiries went cold last month.
What was built
What we built instead
A public website that does the first half of the sales conversation on its own: it explains, it calculates, and it delivers a qualified enquiry to one queue.
A catalogue that answers first
Every product got its own page: what it is, who it suits, what documents it needs. Written in the buyer’s vocabulary and built to rank for the questions people actually type.
Calculators that do the maths
An EMI calculator and eligibility checks let a visitor run their own numbers before the first conversation, so the call starts at "here is what I need" instead of "what would this cost".
One queue for every enquiry
Every callback request and form on the site lands in a single queue with its source attached, so an enquiry from a campaign and one from a product page are counted, compared and never lost.
Three entities, one front door
The group’s companies present as one brand with one navigation, so a visitor moves between borrowing, investing and insurance without ever noticing the corporate structure underneath.
Measured from launch day
Analytics events on every enquiry and a Business Profile wired to the site from the first day, so the firm knows which pages earn the calls rather than guessing.
The shapes
What it looks like
As with every case on this site, the client’s name and site stay theirs, so these are illustrations drawn for this page with sample data.
The outcome
What changed
- Someone searching for a product the firm sells can now find the firm, read a straight answer, and start the conversation themselves.
- The first call begins with a number the visitor already worked out, which makes it a shorter and better call.
- Every enquiry has a source, a time and a status. Which channel earns the business is now a report, not an opinion.
- Scope to live in 12 days, because the scope was written down before the first line of code.
Your business
If your business wins on referrals and loses everyone else
A website like this is the first layer of the stack, and usually the fastest to ship. The scope builder shows the price band for your combination in about a minute, or tell us what you need below. If a page builder would serve you better, we will say so on the call.
